Today was my second chemo treatment. First thing in the morning, I had to cover for Tom at the Le Tip meeting. Natasha's away for a few days so Tom had to open the shop. After the meeting, I picked him up and we went to Dr. Wallach's office. Tom stayed with me until I was settled getting all the chemicals. We asked about my flying to Jacksonville, FL for the National Exchange Club Convention. We were told that I could have my chemo 2 days earlier and then I could go. I spent a lot of the time while I was getting my chemo IV looking for flights - no computer, just my iphone.
Sarah drove down from Claremont to bring her car to the shop. Then she and Deborah met Tari (& her sisters) for lunch at the Olive Garden. I had wanted to join them. I haven't seen Tari in a long time and I always want to see Sarah when she's in San Diego. Well I didn't make it for lunch so I suggested maybe for dessert. I finally was finished, Tom picked me up. And then we ran into two of my BCO friends - who would believe!! I finally made it to the Olive Garden about 3pm. Deb, Sarah and Tari were sitting waiting for me. And then Tari's sisters came back and we all had dessert. A nice ending to the day for me. Then I went home and rested.
So I had a bad evening. I was feeling nauseous. So much so that I went through the regimine of medicine they gave me. I went to bed to sleep it off.
